Brand Ambassador: Erin Bailey

We are very excited to announce Erin Bailey as the newest member of our brand ambassador team. From a very young age Erin enjoyed being active and has found that her love of all-things fitness has been a great way to meet people in a new city.

Erin's positive energy and attitude are infectious and we love the tough love she gives during her classes. Keep it coming, Erin!

Q: What is your occupation?

Erin: I'm the Global Social Media Manager for Withings, and part time Group Fitness Instructor.

Q: What or who inspired you to become an instructor?

Erin: Becoming a fitness instructor kind of fell into my lap. A few of my coworkers were looking to switch up their workout routines and jumped into my leg day work out and the group quickly grew! That was how I first started teaching and now over a year later we sweat together every Tuesday afternoon at lunch, and I've been able to build off of that and teach all over Boston. But I will also say I have several fitness instructor crushes whom I completely look up to and steal ideas from :) Including Christina Lodde, Jennifer Phelan, and Jessica Latshaw <3 #Girlbosses

Q: How do you describe what you do and what do you love most about it?

Erin: I smile, I inspire, I push. Fitness for me was always about doing something you haven't done before, whether that's learning to lift, training for a new race, or just adding 5 more pounds to your routine. It's about venturing into something a little scary and conquering it, ending with a smile. So if you come to any of my classes I'll probably be smiling so much it annoys you, asking how you're doing, and then secretly adding another set just when you thought you were done. Because at the end, you'll be smiling just as much, and that's what I love. I make fitness accessible. I smile, I inspire, I push.

Q: When you are feeling overwhelmed or stressed, what gives you peace?

Erin: Two things: a long, fast run ending by the water to girl empowerment music (Que: Pink, Kelly Clarkson, and Beyonce). And ice cream. Yes clean eating is important to me, just as much as balance is and quite honestly ice cream just makes me feel better sometimes :) So thanks Fomu for opening up a location in the South End around the corner from my apt!

Q: What are your hobbies or passions other than being a fitness leader?

Erin: I love to travel, recently just got back from my first solo trip (to Europe!). I love to go dancing, you'll often find my friends and I front row and center to any good Boston cover band (check out The Beat Drops). And take fitness classes, as much as I love leading a good sweat, I LOVE getting a good a** kicking too.

Q: How would you describe your personal Style?

Erin: Classic / Athletic / Hippie - I'm either in full on workout clothes (75% of the time!), jeans and a solid colored tank, funky bell-bottoms or my Canadian tuxedo.

Q: Why did you want to be an ambassador for Crane & Lion?

Erin: I have such love for Crane & Lion ever since I met the good folks there almost a year ago. Our relationship started through my company and grew over time as we became friends and I couldn't stop talking about their clothes through my personal channels. I would only represent a brand a truly love and so from the quality of the clothes, to the style, to the awesome team, I just can't get enough Crane&Lion. <3
